Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

Keep tattoo bandaged for 2-4 hours after beeing tattooed.  Do not Re-bandage your tattoo.  If the bandage is stuck, soak it in warm water to remove it.  Wash your tattoo with a mild antibacterial soap 3-5 times daily for 3-5 days.  After 5th day, change to a dy and perfume free lotion (i.e. Curel or Lubriderm) for the remainder of the healing process.

Do not pick or scratch tattoo.  No hot tubs, swimming pools or direct sunlight for 3 weeks.  Do not rebandage tattoo after the first day.  All touchups are free.

Any sign of adverse reaction (swelling, infection, illness, alergic reaction or disease), consult your doctor.

Tattoos are considered permanent, and can only be removed with a surgical or laser procedure.

You may also report to your artist any concerns about complications, infection or disease.  The rules and regulations governing body art establisments and body artists require that the body artist report those conditions to the department within 24 hours of discovery.
